- **Stays local.** Serial bytes, pasted logs, and RTT text stay in the tab unless the user exports or uses host ports on their own machine.
- **Simulators** are serial impersonators (boot log + commands). Not Wokwi. Not a chip emulator. They do not run user firmware.
- **Not** SSH in the browser, not a cloud shell, not a hosted LLM, not affiliated with GitHub.
- **Browsers.** Firefox, Safari, Chrome, Edge. Web Serial is Chromium only. Firefox/Safari use Demo UART or `python3 server.py --helper` at http://127.0.0.1:7682/
- **API.** POST JSON to `/api/detect` and `/api/explain`. No key. Nothing stored. Serial APIs exist only on the local helper.
